There Aromatherapy Massage provides its benefits in a large spectrum, since the essence of it are the different essential oils. There are as many essential oils, as plants in our planet, so this spectrum is exceptionally wide. As the plants are differ from each other, so do their benefits of their oils. For example, the Eucalyptus oil is perfect for anything, related to the respiratory system, while it also refreshes and vitalize. On the other hand, the Lavender oil has a calming, soothing effect on both the body and the spirit. These various essential oils provide the core essence of the Aromatherapy Massage. The first phase of the therapy, is to find out, what is the exact problem, so I may create a mixture from the different oils for different problems. I only use 100% natural essential oils, and I mix them with my base oil, which is also a 100% natural, cold-pressed oil, usually grape seed. The second phase, is when I apply the fore mentioned mixture to the skin, with calm, soothing moves, to let the oils and their agents set inside the skin, along with the beneficial agents.
To further increase the positive effects, I always heat my oils up before the massage, so the heat may help to open up the pores, and allow the oils to set inside the skin even better.
My current repertoire includes the following essential oils: Lavender, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Sweet Orange, Rosemary, Cinnamon, Orange, Lemon, Vetiver, Blue Chamomille and Jasmine. The selection is changing and expanding constantly, since I am trying to freshen up my inventory always, to satisfy the needs of my clients.
